These terms govern your use of getprochecked.com and the ProChecked, Lite, and Zero applications (together, the "Software"), operated by ProChecked Limited, an Ohio company ("ProChecked," "we," "us"). By using the site, creating an account, or purchasing a license, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Software.
What ProChecked sells
ProChecked is sold in tiers described on our pricing comparison page, each a one-time, perpetual license unless the page says otherwise for a specific tier (for example, an Elite subscription option, if and when it's offered). Zero runs entirely offline with license validation performed on your own device — no account required. Lite, Pro, and Elite use an account to unlock tier-specific tutorials and manage your license.
ProChecked is under active, one-person development. Feature availability, the roadmap, and launch timing described on this site are current intentions, not guarantees, and may change.
License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for the tier you purchased, on the number of devices stated for that tier at the time of purchase. This is a license, not a sale of the software itself — we retain ownership of the Software, its code, and its design.
You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer for competitive purposes, or redistribute the Software, or use it to build a competing product.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide an accurate email address to receive sign-in links and account notices.
Payment and refunds
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Every ProChecked product carries a full refund within 14 days of purchase; the details are on our Refund Policy page. Refunds for ProChecked Zero aren't available once the product has been downloaded or used, except where the law requires. ProChecked Limited is the seller of the software.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Software or site to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, attempt to bypass license checks or security controls, or interfere with the site's or Software's normal operation.
Intellectual property
ProChecked, its logo, and its software are owned by ProChecked Limited. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you beyond the license described above. Any feedback you send us about the Software may be used by us without obligation to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Software and site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProChecked Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software or site, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using the Software and close your account at any time by contacting us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction gives you rights these terms can't override.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and business evolve. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Software after a change means you accept the update.
